Dr. Solveig van Nes, CEO and Founder, Marine Prospects
Dr. Solveig van Nes is passionate about the ocean and marine food production. She has an academic background in marine biology (Cand. Scient) and aquaculture disciplines (Dr.Scient) and 15 years of experience from research, R&D management and aquaculture industry collaboration. This was followed by environmental policy work and communication & strategic advisory work. She is also board member of the seafood producing company Nova Sea as well as the board of BluePlanet Academy, an aquaculture e-learning platform.
She is currently running her own company focusing on promoting and performing research, advisory work and science communication, with the goal to enhance knowledge of sustainable seafood production and to make this knowledge more available and inspirational.
