Antimicrobial resistance
Stop Lactococcosis? Together we can!
Lactococcosis is a severe disease historically cured by antibiotic therapy. However, the long-term and excessive use of antibiotics accelerates the phenomenon of antibiotic resistance, whereby bacteria develop the ability to survive drugs designed to kill them. Skretting has launched the project Stop Lactococcosis? Together We Can! with the aim of promoting an integrated strategy for managing Lactococcosis that reduces the need for antibiotics.
