Global Values Day - Curiosity

In the run-up to Global Values Day, our values reflect our culture, what we promise our customers and our dedication to our purpose of Feeding the Future. We asked employees from across the globe what our values mean to them and what it’s like to work for Nutreco.

At Nutreco, our values reflect our culture, what we promise our customers and our dedication to our purpose of Feeding the Future. We asked employees from across the globe what our values mean to them and what it’s like to work for Nutreco. Roshan Krishnan, Sr. Manager Technical for Skretting India, feels most connected to our value of “curiosity.”

“While I’ve only been working for Nutreco since the beginning of this year, I already see that it’s about a lot more than just the hours you put in each day,” said Roshan. “At Nutreco, I find a platform to enhance my knowledge – and feel appreciated for my efforts and commitment.”

Roshan’s job is to support our sales teams and customers in India with technical updates and seminars, and work on product trials and demo farms. In his role, he feels that curiosity helps him to provide better solutions for customers.

Curiosity is an instinctive human behaviour that encourages to explore our world and learn about new things – it plays an important role in shaping us. Over time, curiosity leads us to seek answers to more complex questions and become solution providers for our customers – something that is always challenging but also rewarding

Since curiosity is at the origin of both innovations and solutions, Roshan says it’s essential to help Nutreco carry out our purpose of Feeding the Future. Curiosity ultimately leads to innovations that enhance productivity and channel efficiency so we can provide support solutions that are affordable and high in quality  helping farmers to produce more at less cost. When farmers are profitable, they can better utilize resources, helping us fulfil our purpose of Feeding the Future.”
