Skretting Australia were proud to support the 16th Salmon & Wine Festival held in Twizel NZ in February. Skretting Australia participated at the salmon festival with a stall next to Mount Cook Alpine Salmon, High Country Salmon and Aquaculture New Zealand spending the day fielding questions on fish feed and farming as well as running a competition for punters to guess the amount of salmon pellets in a jar. The jar contained 1.5kg of feed which is the amount of feed required to grow a kilo of salmon in Twizel.

Skretting Australia were proud to support the 16th Salmon & Wine Festival held in Twizel NZ last weekend. As always, the combination of boutique wines, craft beers, and delicious local salmon makes this festival unique in New Zealand. The festival was hosted at the stunning Lake Ruataniwha, giving patrons a world-class view while they enjoyed their family day in the Twizel sun. The 2021 festival was again widely popular, attended by over 3,600 patrons from all around the South Island (Twizel has a permanent residence of 1,500 people).
